Play’n GO’s New Slot Turns Bigfoot Legend Into a Playful Forest Mystery

Pragmatic Play Color Game Bonanza live casino game show with multicolored dice, a live host and a futuristic jackpot wheel.

Play’n GO is heading into the woods with its latest release, Stompin’ Gold — a Bigfoot-themed slot that trades classic monster-movie scares for campfire humour and a lighthearted game of hide-and-seek.

A Woodland Mystery With More Comedy Than Fear

The game drops players into a misty forest where footprints dot the ground, branches rustle just out of sight, and Bigfoot sightings refuse to die down. Rather than lean into horror, Stompin’ Gold plays the mystery for laughs, guided by explorer Jack Tracker and two forest-dwelling characters who are more mischievous than menacing.

Biggie, the game’s take on Bigfoot, is goofy and kind-hearted rather than frightening, always seeming to be one step away from some harmless mischief. Boogie matches that energy, popping up just long enough to throw Jack off the trail before slipping back into the trees. Between the two of them, the “hunt” becomes a playful back-and-forth rather than a tense chase, with each clue adding a bit more personality to the forest setting.

Classic Exploration Style Meets Atmospheric Design

Visually, the game leans on familiar explorer imagery — tents, backpacks, cameras, and binoculars all show up among the symbols. That’s set against a backdrop of tall trees and soft mist that gives the forest some atmosphere without tipping into anything too dark. The overall effect keeps things warm and approachable, closer to a retold campfire legend than a story built around fear.

Part of Play’n GO’s Character-Driven Slot Lineup

Stompin’ Gold continues a pattern for Play’n GO, which has increasingly leaned on character-led worlds to give its slots a distinct identity. Jack Tracker drives the narrative forward, while Biggie and Boogie supply the visual comedy that makes the title stand out within the studio’s broader catalogue of story-driven games.

Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO, said:

“Stompin’ Gold has a lovely sense of mischief. Biggie and Boogie give the game its personality, while Jack Tracker grounds the story with curiosity and humour. It is a playful forest mystery with plenty of character.”

With its foggy setting, expressive characters, and folklore-inspired premise, Stompin’ Gold adds a lighter spin on Bigfoot mythology to Play’n GO’s 2026 release lineup.
